National Anthem of Georgia
National Anthem “Tavisuphleba” (თავისუფლება, «Freedom"), has been active since April 2004. It is the combination of two operas of Zakaria Faliashvili (1871-1933): - "Daisi (Twilight)" and "Absalom and Eteri". The author - a modern Georgian poet David Magradze used quotations from famous Georgian classics - Akaki Tsereteli, Grigol Orbeliani and Galaktion Tabidze.
National Emblem of Georgia
The National Emblem of Georgia was adopted on October 1st, 2004. It has a red shield with silver image of Saint Georgia on horse striking a dragon with a spear.
The shield has a golden crown that two golden lions are holding. Under the shield is a band with slogan "Strength is in Unity." This emblem is partly based on a medieval emblem of Georgian royal house of Bagrationi.

Georgian flag was adopted in January 2004, it is a white canvas with 5 red crosses on it, St. George Cross is in the center and four equilateral Bolnisi Crosses are located in four squares. White color, according to heraldic, indicates wisdom, purity, innocence, while the red color symbolizes bravery, courage, love and justice.
One cross in the middle and four on the corners with white background is the symbol of common Christianity, the symbol of Jesus Christ the Savior and the four evangelists. This common Christian symbol, as a heraldic symbol was first seen in 1099 on the arms of the Crusader Godfrey of Bouillon, this person was given the title of Defender of the Holy Sepulcher. From this period heraldic symbol became the personification of the Holy Sepulcher and the center of Christianity - Jerusalem. It is known by three names – Emblem of Godfrey of Bouillon, Symbol of Jerusalem and the Holy Sign.
